Where does my memory actually live?
On your machine, in a local database. Your memory content never leaves it: an independent tester syscall-traced the free tier's memory operations at zero network calls. Paid tiers add lightweight entitlement checks and anonymous operation counts, never content. Our servers hold your account and your tier; Pro lifts limits, it does not move your data.
I already use the free tier. Do I lose anything by upgrading?
No. Your memory is untouched. Pay with the email your account is activated under and the cap lifts in place. Activated with a wallet, or a different email? The page after checkout has a one-field link step that attaches the purchase to any account you control.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Email [email protected] from your checkout email and the subscription stops at the end of the period you paid for. Your memory stays yours either way: if Pro lapses, nothing is deleted, the free-tier cap just applies to new writes.
